Moirai Part 2 of 4
In part 2 Steven wakes up after having a traumatic dream that he didn't understand. He couldn't depict what images he saw too. After talking some more with the mysterious plant he realizes that the plant has something to do with Steven's fate. In fact the plant is fate. As Steven takes this into concederation he asks fate to show him his dream. He begs him but fate denies his request. Steven asks him saying "please fate" and fate gives in and they both slowly go into a dream state. Steven sees a boy playing with toys in a bedroom. Fate tells Steven this boy is his son. Steven is awe struck. He cannot believe that he has a son. Steven is proud of his son.

Moirai Part 1 of 4
In part one of Moirai we meet a man named Steven. He wakes up in a room darkly lit and he doesn't know where he is. After standing up and calling for assistance a plant starts talking to him. The plant asks him questions and Steven soon realizes that he doesn't have an answer to any of them. One thing he does know is that the plant is more powerful than it acts and probably knows why he's here in the first place. Steven calms down from his panic state and asks the plant some simple questions. Although the plant does not give a yes or no answer Steven is determined to know what's going on. Steven knows that the plant holds a large amount of power that can determine what answers Steven will get. The plant suggests that Steven goes to sleep on a bed that appeared from no where. Steven agrees to going to sleep because he hopes there is something to this and maybe if he does what he is told he will be given the answers he wants. As he falls into sleep he begins to dream as images cross his mind. Maybe they play a role in his life and the answers that he wants. All he can do right now is sleep though. He hopes when he wakes up he'll be where he belongs.

Machinima Part III

Wow, a lot has happened since my last post. I recently changed some of the movies I want to make and some of the movies that I have made. The first movie that I changed is the Halo 2 movie that I wanted to make. I changed it and went straight into a mini three part series titled Colony. A break off from my sims 2 movie The Colony. This little series is going on as a podcast and episode 1 has been released on sims99.com but hasn't gone up as a podcast yet for some reason... It takes iTunes a long time to accept a pocast so I'm just going to wait. In the mean time I froze production on episode 2 of Colony so I won't get too far ahead of myself. I don't want to loose sight of what I want to do with the series so I'm going to wait with it until I can get it into a podcast. Second I just finished my new sims 2 movie titled Control. I started it straight after posting a remake of my 2006 Awakening movie and got to work! It took hours upon hours just to put the effects in let alone film it. It was such tedious work and at time it became very annoying. When I began production for it I didn't know if it should have a story or where I really wanted to go with it but I soon realized that I did want a story and I wanted the visuals to be amazing and something that never has been done before.
Total it took me a month to film, edit, and get some early feedback on the movie. It took me about 40 hours in editing and filming. I pulled a couple all nighters or half all nighters but it got done. While I was waiting for feedback I started thinking about my next movie. Of course this one is not going to be crazy and cartoony looking but I want it to look visually stunning. I'm not going to say anything about the story or the plans I have for it but I will say, it's going to take a very long time to make. The effects are much more tedious and annoying to film and edit but in the end it's going to look beautiful. I've began testing shots and testing my editing skills to see if I can pull it off. I can. Ever since my first big hit movie Astral I've been wanting to create a movie similar to stunning visuals and amazing story line. I'm still developing the plot but its coming along nicely and I know it'll be more developed when I start production.
I have some other big plans that people are going to be excited about and I've been working on the (very funny) script for it. That's all I can say about that right now. It's going to be months before anything happens more about it so. Next time I'll tell you more about the developing story of my new "pet project."

Machinima Part II
The few past weeks have been really slow and school has been slow as well. Thank Goodness. Although it's kind of bad because when I have nothing better to do I always end up getting "inspired" and I get new ideas for movies. I have a few projects I have been working on and of course out of all of them I have one project that is my pet project that I want to spend most of my time with. The project that will begin production first is a Halo 2 machinima drama that is titled "This is Home" after the song by the artist We are Ghosts. In this movie two characters are stranded in a desolate training camp and using "survival for the fittest" concept they will try to destroy each other instead of help each other. It's going to be a dark drama and it will have many action scenes because the song is a fast pace rock song.
The second project that will begin production after "This is Home" is a machinima created with The Sims 2. This is my pet project. This movie will take many months to complete. It almost reminds me of Astral a music video I created a while back because of all the green screens, layering, and the insane editing that has to be done. I recently did a test shot and it looks amazing. Although the test shot is 20 seconds and the editing time was three hours. I want this film to be perfect and to be as similar to its music video predecessor by 3D Mickey. I really loved the music video and I hope to re-create it as flawlessly as possible with HD availability. This project is titled "Respire". It's a French piece with subtitles.
The next large but fun project that was started but never completed is the series Life With Duncan. I had technical problems but now that those are over I want to finish the two projects then jump back into this series with fresh ideas. I won't be starting over and the series will continue with Episode 5 and go to Episode 10. I'll re-release this series with a trailer introducing the series again. I think I have the funnest time producing this project than any other project I've ever done before. After awhile the episodes arn't funny to me but after a couple of weeks of release I watch it and laugh like I'm watching someone else's series. I also have to say this is my most well organized series ever. I planned out the entire season from episode 1 to episode 10 with many surprises and crazy twists. It's a very unique series indeed.
And lastly I want to re-create the project that was almost done but was deleted from my computer and is now gone. I want to create this project at a later date so it will be ready for a December 2007 release. It's titled "Return to Narnia". technically and story wise it's clearly amazing. It has its own problems and challenges but it's a visually and plot wise unique piece. All of the music for this movie was completely composed just for the movie. It was written and composed by a man whose user name is Milkman_Dan. He's amazing when it comes to writing music. I'm sure he'll have a large future with that.
I never tell anything about the projects I work on even when they are planned all the way up to next December. I'm very excited about these projects and I know I'm going to have a good time working on all of them! They all have compelling story lines and challenges that are for some reason really fun to work through. I guess it's because in the end I'm able to sit back and watch what I've been working on for the past 110 days.
In the next blog I'm going to talk about recent releases that were made in my spare time. I'll give you an inside and detailed look at how I made them while filming and editing. It also gives me a chance to show off my work! I'll put up some pictures and links of them so you can watch them and tell me what you think of them!

Machinima Part I
I got into the whole video game recording thing very oddly. I didn't even know I got into it before I really was. I think I got sucked into Machinima when I saw the famous RedvsBlue series. I saw it when it wasn't quite as popular as it is now but they still had a large community. I was so intrigued by the creativity that was involved and the great things that they pulled off in a video game. I bought The Sims 2 and I started experimenting with different recording styles and movies and finally I made my very first Machinima movie which was around two minutes long. For it being my first I think it had a very detailed look to it but it didn't have a sturdy story line.
After my first movie I began "testing" because I wanted to know how far I could get with this Machinima thing and what my limits were with The Sims 2 so I just filmed random things. About a month later I finished my second movie A Love Story and shortly after that The Band followed. Much of my filming and editing has been testing and messing around with movies. Now I'm doing amazing things with The Sims 2 that I never thought I could do. I've started to branch out to other games as well such as Halo 2 and The Movies.
My latest work I've done is Life With Duncan. It's a mockumentry series about an unintelligent monotoned man who tries to live a normal life while life is fighting him every chance it gets. The series was inspired by many things that I have come across but most of all the nbc series The Office on television and my old series that just didn't come out the way I planned The Biz. Life With Duncan Integrates a lovable character that many people can relate to and the series adds many surprises and plot twists. It's the first series to use a reality show theme and it definatly adds more humor to the entire series.
I enjoy making movies because I get the chance to express myself and my feelings through the power of sound and visuals. Nothing is more appealing to me than that. I think movies including machinima is a true art right next to painting or writing because you have to have devotion and a certain type of passion to keep going and keep your head on straight. You have to have the eye and the creativity to work and have a vision to evoke what you're feeling. Movies are much more powerful towards the viewer if the creator has the emotion and the talent to pull off something that he has been working on for.
I guess I'm going to write blogs about things that I'm working on and the challenges that I face during filming or editing just to sort of let you learn about the process more or so you can learn more about it. That's about it from here!
